Have you seen this Boxster? Seeking my old '01

Hi Folks,

I've begin the search for my old 2001 Boxster (traded in 5 years ago). Ran the VIN on Autocheck and discovered that it is somewhere in the Atlanta, GA area now (failed an emissions inspection in 05/2017). If you've got any leads please let me know. The yellow calipers and PSE make it kind of unique.

I've also considered running a short article with pictures in the PCA magazine in GA.

I was a very active member on this forum for a long while. Thanks for all your help. Looking forward to getting active again.

Peachstate PCA Article

Hi Everyone,

I must give a HUGE thanks to Mike, the editor of the Peachstate PCA's newsletter. He did a fantastic job of getting my article looking perfect for the magazine. Here is how it came out:

Has anyone else searched for their original Boxster or another car? Any success stories? Advice? I have not had any luck so far beyond running the AutoCheck to learn that it is in the Atlanta area.

Josh

I sold my second Boxster maybe 6 years ago to its 4th owner. About a year ago I got a call from the current owner, #5, who somehow tracked me down via paperwork I had given #4 that was left in the car. Heck, I made #4 cart off a case of old Panorama magazines, lots of original sales literature, and docs on everything I ever printed. (Plus spare parts, a CTec charger, some specialized tools, even top maintenance supplies) It overflowed the trunk of his Cadillac.

The good news it was still a fun car at 95k then.

I might post a "want to buy" ad on Craigslist in Atlanta for more exposure.
