Boxster makes the list for new cars kept for the longest time!

iSeeCars.com analysts found that drivers kept their Boxster's for an average of 9.9 years before selling, making it the 2nd longest vehicle kept since new out of the top 10 listed below. In order to identify when new car owners sell their vehicles, iSeeCars analyzed over 15.7 million used vehicles that were sold by their original owners in the U.S. View what else made the list below. What do you think? Are you surprised by what is on the list? You can view more at the link below.

I am surprised Accord or Camry did not make that list?

I have had "a" Boxster for over 10 years but not the same one

Come September I'll have owned mine for 14 years. So someone else must've only owned theirs for 6 years to average me out!

Had a Landcruiser for 12 years before trading it in for a Lexus 450h; currently have an Audi A4 2.0T for 11years (running awesome) and just got my 2001 Boxster last year and plan on keeping it as long as I've had my Landcruiser and Audi

Almost 15 years with Saab 9-5 sports wagon since new, now with 167K miles.

Also own a 914 for over 24 years but it's stripped on jack stands more than half the time... bought a Boxster last year and no looking back now, will part with 914.

Great performing MR cars with practicality besting some others in the same class. It's difficult to step up from unless upgrading to a newer gen. The badge is a plus too. I intend to keep mine for a lengthy period till a 987 or 996 comes along.

Original owner; 15 years here ☺ Can I boost up my total amount of years to 18 with my 99 2.5 that I had for 3 years? 😁. It feels like one big experience!

13 years and still love it as much as our first date. Glad to see used prices starting to rise slightly but no intention of selling.
