It's not really about the money as much as about not having it break down all the time. Such a great car to drive obviously it's no fun if it's in the shop.
I'll stick with the car see if I can get these issues resolved |
Trust me, the breakdowns will be fewer and fewer and more and more infrequent if you take care of it.

My car is turning out to be a disaster - need words of encouragement
I've spent a fair bit of money on my car too. I bought it last November and immediately put it into storage (as I live in the Great White North). Since getting the car back at the beginning of April, I have done:
- New roof - New full interior carpet - Three spoke steering wheel - New stereo - New heater core - New headlamps - New shift knob - New air filter - New cabin filter - Upgraded roof transmissions - New coolant recovery tank cap - New spark plugs and tubes I'm about to do: - Two new front tires - Rear upper control arms - New A/C control unit LCD - Both window regulators - Oil change - Coolant flush - Rear wheel bearings But you know what? I love it. I actually enjoy fixing things on it. No regrets, and no thoughts of selling it. I've owned 21 cars (I had a 914 too), and this is my favourite by far. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
