Removal of Tape Residue on Plastic Window

Hello all,

The previous owner of my car must have adhered a for sale sign or similar on the rear plastic soft top window. Prior to doing anything that can damage the clarity or quality of the window (use of goo be gone or similar) I'd like your feedback on some safe options to remove this residue.

Any feedback is appreciated.

WD-40 to remove the glue residue, then rubbing alcohol to remove the WD-40.

Finish off with Meguiar's PlastX. If you don't own this product, buy it. It should also be a part of regular maintenance on your headlights and tail lights.

Just sayin'...........

Like he said!
Please don't use paper towels - they are like sandpaper on the plastic - use good quality microfibers.

Thank you. I used the WD-40 and it worked like a charm. Also picked up the Maguiar's PlastX and polished inside and out with a microfiber cloth. Looks great. Really appreciate that advice.
