Need advice replacing Instrument bulbs

I need to replace burnt out bulb - clock/oil section. Do I need any special tools to open up instrument cluster?

That question does not have a straight answer.

If you have the original cluster found on earlier cars, it uses bulbs. If the burnt out bulb is for the clock/oil LCD, you can just pull the cluster and replace it from the rear (no disassembly). See Pelican's tech article for removal instructions.
If it's the bulb behind the analog rotary gauge, you must pull the rear cover off (no special tools required).

If you have either of the later clusters, they use LEDs, not bulbs, and require some serious disassembly to replace.

So I see I need to pull off flasher and thingy on opposite side of cluster. Then 2 torx screws. Then flasher relay?

Yes. Pull the hazard button face and small grille on the left and remove the screw behind each. Pull the hazard switch straight out. Lift entire gauge pod assembly up, then release the hazard switch connector retaining clip and pull it down and out of the pod.
Release the 3 cam lock connectors on the back of the cluster and the whole assembly is now free. ;)

The Pelican technical article has step by step with pictures.
