Determining Convertible Top Color

Hi all,

I am an extremely new Porsche owner. I just purchased a 1999 Boxster last week, and have no experience with Porsches at all, but am absorbing as much as I can via forums like this one.

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this, but I am not exactly sure what color my convertible top is. The paint is Glacier White, and the top looks very dark blue to me. But possibly a faded black? The gear shifter has blue accents, which makes me think blue is what the original color is.

I have looked at the sticker under the hood, as well as the metal plate under the carpet in the front compartment, but still can't seem to settle on what I have. I will attempt to attach photos, but if someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

The codes seem to say "L3AU Z1" and 'Firnweiss, Glacier White".

Looks like there are 3 color options for 99 Boxsters:

Cabriolet Top Colors - Boxster
MSRP = N/C

Code Description
V2 Graphite Grey
V4 Metropol Blue
V9 Black

Note: All Cabriolet models require the selection of a top color, i.e. A1V9, etc.

Chances are it's Metropol. Post a pic of your car (can't tell from your siggy).
