Makes me wish I had left it 100% stock. I still have the CD holder and head unit but now run two deep trays and a modern head unit. Need an even bigger amp to run that custom sub box now.

Warms my heart to see this Fred! With the weather getting better I do miss it. Glad to see she is in great hands, being cared for and driven!

I am giggling like a school girl because the rim barrels are spotless and free of brake dust, just like I kept it.

You made my day.

Hi Mark,

Good to hear from you! #317 is doing great Weather permitting I take her out once a week on one of my 'Catskill Circuits'. Otherwise she is garaged with the battery tender connected. My wife thinks the 986 is much better for top down fun than her Audi S5 cab (that's saying a lot, the S5 is no slouch).

I'll probably pull the front valance and clean the radiators next week. I ordered some honeycomb black powder coated 77% flow grill material from Custom Car Grills so I'll fabricate and mount the radiator grills while I have it apart. The whole point for me is to maintain the stock external appearance. I'll post some pics after I'm done.

We love the Borla! I'm kind of OCD about detailing so completely clean rims and calipers are mandatory. Be sure to keep check on the forum for pics and future adventures to come!
