I've seen these for decades now, no one has been able to make one actually seal and last. Most of the prototypes I've seen were on motorcycle or single cylinder engines.

The gen-sets they run have valve trains that last till the engine overhaul. This is phenomenal. I am going to track down where these are actually in service and chat with them. The company I work for would love this durability
