Muffler question for a 97 base

I have a 97 base will all original equipement- only 35k miles-
what id like to know is if a Dansk sport muffler for a 2000 car would be plug and play to switch out with my stock one- it looks identical on mount points but do the inlets at each side measure out the same ? I will probably be putting on catless headers or sport cat headers and delete the rear cats as well anyway -
Anyone do this upgrade before- ive read the other threads with guys talking about the aftermarket mufflers and the droan etc and in know I like the Dansk Sport muffler SS sound -

thanks,

Phil

It would fit, but the 97-99 models would require some extra pieces from the 00-04 model for it to mount the same way. I show a pic of the parts below that some places sell as a kit, but it's pricey that way. Cheaper to buy those odd parts from a wrecker/salvage yard.
