Had GAHH top installed today, nice upgrade
I had a GAHH glass window top installed today on my 2001 Boxster. Looks SO much better than my torn plastic window. I had it tinted as well. VIsibility is not as good up and down but side to side I haven't noticed a difference. The installer said not to lower my top for a couple of weeks to allow the material a chance to stretch so I haven't got to test it that way, but I'm really pleased so far. Makes the whole top look like a Porsche should instead of cheap like the plastic window looked on mine. If you are debating this upgrade and you have a torn window, I think its a no brainer.

98Boxster98,
I had Winslow's Auto Trim install it. They are on Garland Road in Dallas. They charged me $585.00 plus a few bucks for the tint. Take care,
Mike

Hi Marc,
Looks good, what did you do about the defroster? I ordered the cable loom from Sunset Porsche as they had it $50.00 cheaper than my dealer. Just wondering if you had a custom alternative or had to use the cable loom as well.

Thanks Mike,
I had my top installed through a Porsche dealer, they just made a custom cable for me. I had the dealer do it all because it was paid for by insurance due to my recent break in and I like the idea of a dealer standing behind the work.

Prestige Porsche, the sent it out and have it done, then when the car comes back they align the top and wired the defroster.
So far I have been really pleased with Prestige.
I kinda like the smaller window, looks a little mean
I wont miss the "Boxster chop", thats for sure!
