Good Detailing Tip

I learned a good detailing tip this weekend at the Chicago PCA Concours.

My clear plastic triangular stone guards (that are located just forward the real wheels) were looking very dirty around the edges from wax build-up.

The Concours Judge recommended the following:

1) Using a Q-Tip, trace the outer edge with full strength Wurth Citrus Degreaser (www.wurthusa.com).

I had to trace the edge a couple times. Gently rubbed the edge with a clean white 100% terry cloth towel. Wax build-up came right off. Spritzed the area with distilled water. Wiped dry. Then applied a little detail spritz (Zaino Z8). Looks like new!

Excellent - thank you for sharing, wish I could go out and do that to my car right now but I won't see my baby for 9 days
