Odd fold in convertible top

This is an oddity on the top of a car that I am considering. What might cause this?

Thanks for this! I've not bought the car yet but if/when I do, I'll be sure to refer to this solution!

no biggie. Open the top a little, tuck the cable and fabric back where it belongs. It should be fine.
