I have a deep personal hatred for AGM. We tried for almost 2 years to work out assembly issues, going home every single day itching like hell from the fiberglass. When I left JCI, these issues were still a daily thing. Take that into account when you read my hatred filled biased posts about them. :D

HAHA! I can sense your pain! I understand your point of view now. Not seeing acid corrosion on terminals and battery trays makes them worth the cost IMHO.

Wait, you mean I didn't need to connect the vent tube to my AGM battery that I recently installed? In the instructions, it said to vent if needed, and the battery does still have vent holes, and came with a plug for blocking off there other end of the side you vent....you can see the vent tube connected on left side of battery below...
