Fiberglass top with glass windows

I'm installing a cage in my Boxster over the winter which means I'll loose my soft top. I'm planning on buying a fiberglass top but the car still needs to be parked outside in the summer (under a water proof cover). If possible I'd like to install rubber seals to make the windows seal it up, is this possible? Does the top come anywhere near the windows?

Bonus question, I'm considering buying an actual hard top but do to the weight I wouldn't run it on the track. Is the aerodynamic benefit great enough to go with a lightweight top that I can run on the track?

It's probably no help, but your post reminded me of the top that Eric523 makes:
Similar look to the Z-tops, but built for racing. I think 996 windows fit with it:
