Vacuum or overflow hose?

While busy tracing possible vacuum leaks I came across this hose. This hose connects to the hydraulic reservoir, the other end is not connected to anything. Is this a vacuum hose or the overflow for hydraulic oil?

No, it is not a vacuum line. It is the overflow for the power steering expansion tank.

I replced mine with a longer one that directs any overflow to the ground. The stock hose is so short, any overflowing p/s fluid goes all over the engine. On my '01 S, it uses a 5.5mm hose IIRC

Thanks I will extend the overflow hose too.
