Some guys think they are the best factory wheel you can put on an early Boxster. :D
I have 4 3/4 sets stashed away for various projects. They are hard to find.

itsnotanova 12-21-2016 05:13 AM

I've heard they're the second lightest factory wheels for a 986

...and a smart guy might have several sets stashed away for his Spec Boxster build... :D

Yes and good luck finding the lightest because word is out on those. Lots of fronts on Ebay but the rears are sold right away

How much does it weigh, the 17x8.5 is missing from here:

Sorry I should clarify. In a 17 inch wheel they're the lightest. I think the style I'm talking about are 19lbs for the rear 17x8.5. I think that style is 22lbs

BIGJake111 12-21-2016 06:42 AM

How about the little tiny 16 inch wheels. I had those on my first box, they were actually kinda fun because of how thin they were, not even staggered front to back, gave the car a very different feel.
