jcslocum Project Addicted Join Date: Aug 2015 Location: Eastern Shore, MD Posts: 623	The early boxsters used 2 different sized batteries. The Tiptronic model used the larger size with more cranking amps. H6 (48) sized battery = smaller H7 (94R) sized = larger Here in the USA the difference is 750 cranking amps to 830 cranking amps. Significant! I just took put an H6 and installed the H7 battery. The H7 is longer and the hole to bolt it down is built into the base of the tray for the battery, so either size will fit.
