Is this a 986 hard top?

My rear window is a cloudy piece of hazed plastic

I'm thinking of putting up a hard top

I found this hard top on a local 'ebay'...

It comes new.. the seller knows this top is for Porsche but cannot confirm what model is it for

The price is a real steal..

Is this for 986 boxster? I'm driving a 98' 2.5L

These are all the photos he provided.

Tough call. I have a '98 hardtop sitting in storage. I'll take a pic of it and post so you can compare.

The side window opening is too long to be for a Boxster. My WAG is that you are looking at a hardtop for a 996/997.

Also the reason for the low price. HTs for 996s are more plentiful and are usually considerably cheaper.

That's a 996 hardtop, the 986 tops have more of an arch in them and the rear window does not curve around the sides like that.
