Thank you for staying on topic, folks!

I'm not a moderator on this forum, but I visit it daily to see what I can learn and pass along about Boxster ownership.

It's refreshing to visit a web site where I don't have to wade through comments and posts where every topic seems to degrade toward politics.

I was thinking the same thing.

rick3000 11-08-2016 07:02 AM

Agreed! Let's continue to keep everything friendly and on topic!

As far as Politics goes, I am looking for the bottom Check box that should be a mandatory option in every election in a Democratic society.

[ ] Hillary
[ ] Donald
[ ] Unknown Green Party #1
[ ] Unknown Communist Party #2
[ ] Unknown ISIS Terrorist Sympathizer #3
[ ] _____Uncle Weiner_________________
[X] Throw these electoral candidates out and bring a new set of candidates.

Pdwight 11-08-2016 06:59 PM

Agreed

It has been so refreshing to not have this election brought into this forum.

Big fan of this forum and love the lack of politics.

DrCactus 11-09-2016 02:56 AM

Great people, Great Times... makes owning an old beast that much better !

Xpit77 11-09-2016 03:47 AM

What election ? We never heard a thing about here in Canada.;)

BIGJake111 11-09-2016 04:24 AM

I absolutely love politics but one of the best things about this forum is that there is little reason to ever go off topic about anything or argue about anything aside from those occasional furry four legged creatures.

Sorry but its such a landmark day in US History that I can not contain myself.
Imagine an independently wealthy businessman that cannot be bought by special interest groups and is not particularly that politically party oriented as the leader of the most powerful country in the world.

We are expecting amazing and unprecedented results in the next 4 years, and those foreign countries think they may need to fear his wielding of military power, but its really his business and negotiation skills that will drive the US economy to the next level. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds and blossoms.

Let's keep this forum centered on the Porsche experience.

There is the "Off Topic" Zuffenhausen Lounge if you must.

It certainly will be unbelievable what President Trump does to our country

Smallblock454 11-11-2016 10:47 AM

Hello,

in general i'll try to stay on topic and try to be objectively. But from outside the US and as a non US citizen this presidential US election and the result of the election looked very outlandish to me.

Hope that our all future is peaceful and prosper, hope that everyones human rights will be respected and that the consultants of the future US president will do a good job. There is really enough unneeded hate, discrimination and war activity in the world.

From my point of view Mr. and Mrs. Obama have a very high reputation over here in Germany and represented the US in a really good way. Hope the future president can do that too.

Regards, Markus

And then 3 of the last 4 posters had to ruin it. Just couldn't resist, eh?

Thanks Markus, Jay and jb. :p

CdnRD 11-11-2016 12:10 PM

I'm sure we all have opinions on that subject but there are other places to share them. One thing we can all agree on is our appreciation of our Boxsters.
