Shout out to Woody

My parts arrived from Texas. How cool is it that we have a solid parts guy to buy from that we can trust.
And ship to Canada.
Thanks Woody

Why thank you! I wish it wasn't so expensive to ship up there for you guys in the north. I have had a few Canadians get stuff shipped just on this side of the border so they can save on shipping. Be glad you're not south of the border though. It cost one guy $250 to get a set of calipers sent to him. It's cheaper shipping to Europe than it is Mexico.

Yup. Woody is the man! We had a little text chat just yesterday. He's even a good guy just to shoot the breeze with.

Woody is awesome!! He has helped me out more times than I can remember. He even followed one of my threads and had the part ready to ship out when I contacted him. A true class act

Yes, Woody is a great resource, quick shipping, and reasonable prices!

Thanks Woody, I will add you to my facebook today... Do you ship to Canada ?

He is exceptional, no doubt about it! He sold me a fine pair of broken visors, dirt cheap including shipping. BTW, I did request broken visors. How about "Woody for President" ??? Write in candidate?

Woody's the best, and here's why...

I was at the end of my rope (figuratively) due to the dreaded cutting out under acceleration problem and I contacted Woody about a used DME. Even though he had one to sell me, he said that it didn't sound like a DME and suggested I check for vacuum leaks. I did just that and found a leaky hose connection on the engine (using ether). Problem solved and no need for the DME adventure.

Woody and the "YUGE" amount of helpful info on this forum and parts from Pelican have saved me a lot of time and money.

I think we all share the need and appreciation for generous people like Woody to get through our much-too-frequent Boxster projects.

Thanks guys! As jvfante has pointed out. I'm not the best business person because I tell half the people who contact me why they shouldn't buy a used part from me. I'd rather have a clear conscience that than make a buck. On another note, it's always best to text me or call me at 512-925-9171. Thanks:cheers:

Woody is in the news:

Porsche Boxster Graveyard

Regards, Markus

Edit: OK, the article is a bit older - Aug 5, 2015 - didn't notice that at first sight.
