Push music into Bluetooth equipped radio of 2009 model base 987.2

Having see that my phone can push telephone call voices into the bluetooth equipped Head Unit for playback on speakers, I was wondering why I am unable to "play" my songs using the same Head Unit?

Does anyone have a hack for either IOS or the Head Unit that can allow for my car speakers to play the music in my phone without using the clunky AUX cable?
