Both front and rear trunk levers won't move?

Hello,
Is there some type of alarm lockout thing that happened to my car and locked both the front and rear trunk levers at the same time? I replaced my dashboard speakers tonight and had the doors open for a while, does that trigger something? What's weird is that at one point I had to stop working so I popped the rear trunk and put my tool box in it, then went upstairs for a while. Came down, popped the trunk again to get the tool box out. Finished up the speaker replacement and went to put something in the front trunk and discovered both levers won't move.
I saw the threads about pulling the release wires, sitting on the trunk while someone pulls the lever etc. But both levers don't move all of a sudden so I feel like it's a security thing?

Try locking the car by using the key in the door, then unlocking.

That worked, thank you!
