Airbag retaining frame replacement help

Guys I am trying to replace the airbag retaining frame on my 98, I cannot get torx screws out the back of the wheel.
I'm trying to use a T-30 torx screw driver. Do I need to try something else ? Should these be THAT tight ? Please help

Mine were incredibly, crazy tight. I ended up using a 3/8" ratchet with a torx socket. Using a multi-tool set or screwdriver wasn't in the cards. I was sure something was gonna break. Turns out there was a large amount of blue loctite on each of the screws. I think Porsche wants the assembly to stay put and not become embedded in your chest in case of a deployment.

Takata are you listening?

I just removed mine the other day. Same issue as you - so tight I thought something was going to break.

I extracted the T27 bit out of my Torx socket and then slid that into a narrow nut driver shank with a socket on the other end and a ratchet.
