Vin decoder

It worked for me. Doesn't really tell you much. It doesn't mention your car's color, options or build date. Most of the stuff it tells you can be found in your owner's manual.

Try this. Copy and paste this into a text editor and replace the xxxx's with your VIN then copy and paste into your browser. Make sure your VIN is exactly correct. Hope it works for you. Works fine for me

Also, note that the character after the WP is a zero and not an O.

Both links worked for me. Thanks.

Thanks I was using 3 rd character as letter o not number zero

but these reports don't always show build specs do they ?

i asked owner for a picture of the hood sticker - it was not there - so the accident he mentioned on car fax back in 2002 no doubt involved front end / hood :(

Next time you pass by the dealership ( to buy an o-ring ;) ) ask them to print out the codes. Mine too had a replacement hood and consequently no option codes.

I tried the websites listed above and had no luck. I asked the parts guy at my local dealer and he got the listing for me at no charge. There is a website that will send you the original sticker for $100
