where are the curves

hi
Just seen a 2015 boxster , parked in the castle car park near were I live and took a long look at its rear end, and decided my ( new to me) 2003 S is much nicer from the back, than the newer ones. I think they have added some straight lines and angles which seem to spoil the curves of the 986. Only a personal opinion. Anyway back out into the sunshine in it. cheers

The 986 design is still very modern to me.
With a longer wheelbase and less overhangs it would look better than the 718!

Good eye on your part. This is a very cognizant and deliberate design plan by Porsche. They want to sharpen the lines of the Boxster, and continue to make it more "masculine" in stance. Slow and steady, not all at once.
