Dang, I thought this thread was going to be about hauling a grill in your Boxster to the local sports stadium for a tailgate party!

I see the same thing whether my Boxster or my 330ci, and yes it makes me nervous. I was rear-ended 14 years ago while stopping for a red light, and subsequently I am always fearful of drivers following too close for safety.

Make a sign for the spoiler-BACK OFF

With the BACK OFF sign on the spoiler you can just hit the button when somebody fills your mirror.
I have often observed that often when I'm on cruise control near the limit, cars will creep closer and closer even though the passing lane is open. After I cancel cruise control and slow, they finally pass. I think they are "day-dream drivers". Tom

Most of it is in your head. ;)
The distance from the drivers seat to rear bumper is much less than most cars, so the car behind you is closer to you than it would be in other cars, but probably no closer to your bumper.

I don't have any issues with uphill starts anymore, but it certainly took a while to master them. Every now and then I will accidentally over rev the engine, or if I can see a light uphill I drive slowly so it has time to turn green. It takes time, but you'll get the hang of it!

Hahaha yeah it was rough in the first couple months but I'm good to go now. I like the idea of the back off decal on the spoiler hahaha

My biggest concern when someone is crawling up my ass driving is getting rear ended as I can probably stop in 50% less distance than they can.

Using the rear fog light usually makes them back off a little

If there is none in the lane next to me, I move over
