There has historically been no reliable way for a consumer to purchase and receive a high-quality Boxster hardtop. I am guessing these are those new Z tops that were coming out of China. First the price was low, like <$2k, then it went way up.
It sounds to me that these folks aren't super familiar with the product, or the market. If they think they are going to sell many at the $4-$5k+ that I saw them advertised for lately, I think they are going to in for a bit of a surprise. Good luck! |

If you get it directly from china, you'll pay about the same, so if the customer service is good, I think it's not too bad! Unfortunately, too expensive for me, it's almost half of what my car is worth. |
Sounds like a fair price if the quality is good. So once you are all in with shipping, paint, etc. you are looking at $5-$6k. You probably won't have them flying off of the shelves, but it looks like a nice product.
