Bodywork and bumper fitment

I'm in the long haul of fixing this car through bodyshops that I can find locally, it looks like an OEM bumper is going to cost me $1,000 plus paint matching from Porsche itself. In the mean time, I'm looking into other replacements, but I'm not entirely sure that they'll fit my car. I have a 1997 Boxster 2.5 liter, and another user recommended a replacement bumper that is showing compatibility for the 2004, but not the 1997. As I understand, they'll still fit onto the 1997 model, as it's the same front end throughout the years, correct? Or has there been fitment differences between the model years. Any help is appreciated!

The bumper in question

Yes all 97-04 front bumpers can interchange with no modifications. The vent grills are different on 03 and 04 though.

Okay so that's where the difference comes in. Can I pluck out some vent grilles from another 04 and just swap them into it without any trouble?

As far as I know you should. FYI, I have a 03/04 base set for $100 shipped. Did you keep your damaged bumper? The 97-02 grills and skid plates are worth some $$ on ebay. I just looked and only saw one set of grills for the 97-02 and none for the 03/04

My grilles are undamaged. I'll likely buy yours as soon as my bumper comes in. Thank you for the help!
