Going original - "reinstalling CD-R-220" - question?

Okay so I bought a 99' a while back. It had a Pioneer flat screen thing in it. I did get the original CD-R-220 and want to put it in. I just pulled out the Pioneer and mounting sleeve holding it.

My question- do I need a mounting sleeve for the CDR-220 or can it go straight in the cavity in the dash?

Thanks for the help....and no "cavity" jokes please!

The 220 does not use a sleeve. It just plugs right in. Easy Peasy. The 210 uses a sleeve.

You'll need to get a center console piece if the aftermarket is a double din. They are easy to find on eBay. The one in your car will be missing the center horizontal piece in order for the double din to have fit.
