Rough stalk switching

I've got my car already with somewhat rough/hard stalk switches (comparing to all other cars I have/had). Everything else operates OK so far (it goes off on its own when wheel comes back to a center). I wonder if this is a "feature" or simply something is wear off.

They are made like that. The feel is crude and crappy. As long as it works, be happy. They tend to break easy too (not return when your wheel centers), and then you have to take the steering wheel off to replace the stalk unit.

Disagree. Mine is smooth as butter. Always has been. If it's hard and notchy, it's probably failing.

Mine's a little notchy and 'plasticy' too. It's not silky smooth, feels a little cheap.

Wonder if we could take the assembly apart and grease it?
