986 Instrument Aluminum Trim Rings

So I've done a little searching and haven't been able to find these. Anyone know where a set can be picked up?

I got mine from Design911. Had them shipped from the UK. Definitely pricey, but really dresses up the Base cluster. I got the warning light cover as well.

There was a set for sale on the Wash DC CL about 1 month ago. Maybe see if they are still there.

Try a search for 996 trim rings. I found them, but they don't look quite right.

Never mind. The set I found is for 993. Can't find any for the 986/996.

Hmmmm, I got mine there 3-4 months ago. Yes, I don't see them on the site any longer. I bought "Gauge Bezels (Alloy Set) Set of 5 (996 and Boxster)." Their part # 911680AB996. Maybe give them a call or send an email?

Found these on Vertex. Like I said, pricey. But I like 'em. Just stick on with (silicone) adhesive. Use silicon, because, if you change your mind, it'll just peel right off - leaving no gluey gunk or damage.

Obviously no need for the two small rings on our cars, so those are extra. Hey, still I've got them. Maybe I should post FS on a 996 forum for $$$$$$$$$?!?!

For some reason these are scarce and hard to find at any price. I found a random set a few years ago for around $60, but they were red. I was able to remove the red coating with a spray on paint remover. It exposed the aluminum finish which I then applied a brushed finish using a very fine emery cloth.

I seem to remember purchasing mine from Eckler's Automation. I checked their sight this morning and found the following:
