I wonder if the owner of that car did something to earn that optional trunk script?

Looks like someone was a little upset. That's not going to buff out.
With a few strategic scrapes you could change it to "ROCK YOU".

Wow. Worth the price of admission.

No, Porsche does this for free when you order a car with no options.:D

Hmm, this got me thinking- would an arctic silver boxster with a black trunk lid and black frunk lid look good? It does in my imagination...

I tried an arctic silver frunk lid on a black Boxster and just couldn't get myself to like it. The lines and curves didn't go well IMO.

I do like the color combo using the side vents and top. I think the clamshell would probably work, but haven't tried.

I think it's more insurance fraud than being hated. I've seen a few vehicle that I suspect the owner got in over their head and took the insurance way out. I've seen a few boxsters with damage that looked too staged. They would have damage to them that didn't look like it was done out of anger but was done to cause the vehicle to get totaled. I bought a Ford Lightning at the insurance auction that I believe was uncaught insurance fraud. The truck was a "theft recovery" but the thieves only took a few odd things and left the supercharged motor. The supercharged motor is what really makes the Lightning different than any ordinary F150. I brought it home and started inspecting it closer. I took a sparkplug out and looked down to see daylight inside the cylinder. The motor had grenaded and poked a hole through the block. It was a small hole that you could only see from underneath. I suspect the owner blew his motor and then had it staged to look like it was stolen.
