Hot Start Problem

Hi I have a 986 2004 2.7 Tiptronic S, with an engine hot start problem.
It normally starts from cold fine, but when its warm you turn the key and it turns over fine but does not fire - turn off then turn key again and it fires up perfectly.
Any idea's? or come across this before?
Help would be appreciated.
Many Thanks.

Check you crank position sensor, they are famous for causing hot start problems.

Use the search function "cps" or "crank position sensor". the results (many) will give you an idea of how difficult it will be to replace (reasonably simple) if you are handy and don't mind getting your hands a little dirty.
