Exhaust tip

I have an 03 S and really like the single exhaust outlet better...what year base outlets will work with an 03 muffler? Thanks

I think the tips were only removable from 03 onwards. Mine is 02 and can't be removed.

Anything can be removed in some way shape or form. The usability of your part after removing it all depends on how carefully it was removed.

That part is probably spot-welded or tack-welded to an existing muffler assembly. Go buy a junk 2003 and pull one off and retrofit it to your car.

Or, you can do like I would probably do, and that is just to make one from a piece of .020" stainless steel...it's pretty easy to work with and that shape is not complicated. Cut off or cut-back your stock muffler outlet, then bring them to some kid at a Vo-Tech or welding school to finish....might cost you a $20 tip.
