Tail lights acting up?

When the daytime running lights are on. Only the right tail light is on. Is it supposed to be on?

Now I also see that the brake lights work intermittently. Where is the switch for the brakes? I guess I have to adjust or check it.

Garage
The search function is your friend. When the electrical side of the ignition switch starts to fail, it can cause all sorts of strange electrical gremlins. It is a DIY project and Pedro has a good write up with pictures on his site.

Not a complete answer to your full question.

The brake light switch is under side of the dash just above the brake padle. My brake light were not working and I took out the switch, cleaned the contacts and re-installed it and it solved my problem.

If you google, "Boxster brake light not working". You will get everything about it and more with pictures, how to etc. However, I doubt that it is brake switch problem with your car since your baby also have tail light problem.

It will not hurt to clean the brake light switch. Once you can reach it, it is easy to remove and install.

I checked for a switch, found her under the steering wheel, the cable had been knocked loose. I may have to get a new connector.
The brake light is working fine now.

Thanks for the replies guys.
