All the ducktails are shipped. I have installed two sided tape on the bottom mounting area of the ducktail. For those painting maybe you can mask it off to save the tape. Still not sure if it's required, I now have 3000 KM on mine and it's still there same as the day I installed it. Also included three plastic pins (they're not OEM) in case you need.
I need to find an '03 or newer Boxster this weekend to do the next generation ducktail and also get back to work on the side intake scoops.

I will continue making these if there is anyone interested.
Thanks, Joe

What is going on with the larger ducks? I may not ever buy one, but I'd like to see someone use one.

Today I test fit the ducktail it fit very well. So I moved on to giving it a sanding and cleaning with alcohol. Put down four light to medium coats of grey primer. Waited an hour and gave the primer a light sanding. Cleaned her up and put down 4 coats of Arctic Silver waiting about 10 minutes between coats. Let that dry for an hour and put down 6 coats of clear coat. All of this was custom mixed rattle cans. I'm happy to say no runs ! I think it came out good for a backyard paint job. Will let it dry through Sunday morning and then do the final install. I will take pics once it is installed .

Don't change a thing!

I should be taking ownership of a 986 in a couple weeks, and I'm all in for the short duck tail.

Do you have a website?
I don't do Facebook.

Edit: I see now that Tarett is handling your parts. Not finding the duck tail on the website though.

I may be in the minority but I actually like the rear lights . But yesterday I did order some clear front side marker lights as I don't like the orange ones. I don't have any good overall pics of the car I need to take some. The ducktail was the last exterior detail I have wanted .

			Joe,
After seeing two smokin' fast miatas with big rear spoilers at this weekends AX, I'm interested in the BIG version of the ducktail. Are you producing this?

The larger version of the ducktail is still one of the many (12 and counting) projects I'm trying to get done along with the side skirts. It has been a busy last few months with orders which keep me away from play time with new pieces. Working 7 days a week with my hobby after retirement still doesn't seem to give me enough time to get everything done I want to. Stay tuned more pieces will be coming. Thanks
