Thank you
Thank you for having search engine on this site. I was going to ask for some help but. I remember reading some posts that basically read. Look it up . So I did and got a hack to stop my windows from going into drop position and not wanting to go back.
So its the switch and here is my question.I know I should`nt but. When I replace the switch will it affect the immobilizer. This switch is tied into that system. Or just disconnect the battery and have at it ?Anyone re and re one before ? |
It will not affect the immobilizer but its always a good idea to disconnect battery when doing electrical work on your car. Takes 5 minutes and may save you from some heartache one day!

Just remember (if you have a stock stereo) that you'll need your radio code if you disconnect your battery.

I always disconnect the battery. I have a aftermarket unit so no code. I bought a dash switch to work the spoiler that I also have to install so looks like I should do them together.
