Clock/oil level not working
This section of my gauge cluster is completely out. I'm assuming there's not a separate fuse just for this section.
Bad LCD? |
More than likely the illumination bulb just burned out and you have to remove the instrument cluster to replace it. There are three bulb sizes, at least on my 2000 there are. 12v 3w: 999-631-304-90 / analog gauges, 12v 1.5w: 999-631-303-90 / digital display, 12v 1.2w: 999-631-302-90 / idiot lights.

Thanks! Are these std bulbs available at local parts store or do I need to order from Pelican or even dealer?
Maybe good to replace all of them? |
Contact problem, tap the top of the cluster and it might light up again, happens to my car also.

Mine did the same think. Only it was the digital speedo. Lite bulb fixed it. |
It's this one right?
12v 1.5w: 999-631-303-90 / digital display |
While you're in there you might as well replace them all. If one failed then how much longer can the others last. I guess I'm just lazy and don't want to do things twice.

Hard to tell as there are variations due to year and installed equipment. I would say replace the three back lights and while the instrument cluster is removed, count the tan / black bulb holders and place an order for the bulbs as that time. When an idiot lamp blows simply replace them all.
