Don't know what a new Porcshe looks like

So I'm driving some back roads last night and I see a new Roadster a couple cars in front of me. I'm driving my family in our suv.
I couldn't recognize it exactly but I finally conclude it's a 'F' type Jag. My son agrees
I am absolutely dumbfound that the driver hits the brakes before each twist in the road. Its a 45 mph road and they slow down each time to 35 to take the turn.
I'm shaking my head
Finally no more cars between me and the 'F' Type. The driver continues to cautiously enter every turn like an overloaded Semi.
We finally meet at a stop sign and Oh S!@% it's a Boxster S.
Man do I feel like a Porsche Know-nothing.
I'm thinking it's a 718 because from behind with those very narrow tail lights, it looks just like the Jag
I think that driver bought a Badge, not a sports car

I don't really care that I don't know the new Porsche's, I'm just not very interested in them but I was kinda taken back
My Family certainly enjoyed my ignorance

So whens the last time you went off-roading with your SUV? :p

Maybe he was practicing 'slow in, fast out'?

As annoying as that might have been, what would we be saying about him if he went in at 75 and wadded up his nice new sports car in the ditch? That would be far more embarrassing (and costly). There's plenty of those guys on YT.

I think the F Types are far sexier than the 981 / 718s. IF I was looking for a new car, I would certainly look at the F. The current 981 Spyder would be in the mix too.
