I like the one with the wrong rims to be honest. The warranty (if it's bumper to bumper) can be worth a lot of money and if the rims really bug you they are the easiest thing on the car to change later on. The low milage is a nice plus too although I don't think the first one is that bad either, I would avoid the one with the new engine that is always a red flag for me. There may be nothing wrong with it but with the prices being very similar on all of the cars it's not like you're saving anything going with the new engine and who knows why it needed that engine and what other problems may show up months/years down the road.

The black one has a new roof, the owner told me vandalism with a knife ripped it open in Salzburg. So that one has something replaced too (although I don't think it's as serious as replacing an engine).

The one you liked is indeed the best I think eventhough it doesn't look as slick as the black one (killer rims, killer color, and new roof..).

I'll be seeing both of them in reality soon.

I think its pretty simple.

The one seal grey one with low miles and warranty. That's a 2003.
You can change the wheels, maybe BBS are cheaper in that part of the world?
and they look very nice on Boxsters. BBS wheels

The first wrong is the worst combination: Black and high miles.
Black paint will look new for half the time silver or grey will last.
And it will get dirty after 30 minutes of cleaning it.

The Arctic Silver with the new engine needs to be examined very carefully by and independednt certified Porsche mechanic. It's difficult to see if the engine change was done correctly. Was it done by a Porsche dealer service center?

Does BBS make the original Porsche rims? These rims look on the BBS page look <i>exactly</i> like the Porsche rims. Are they "authorized copies" or the original themselves?

I was told that the Carrera Rad rims can be found easily on eBay, and that the Turbo rims the grey+warranty Boxster has are actually more expensive, so I can even win in the exchange..

That's a good question. I'm not sure if BBS make wheels for Porsche.
I would think at this point Porsche make all their own wheels, even the Sport Classics which have the traditional BBS mesh look.

BBS wheels are nice because you can sell them on Ebay to other Boxster owners!
I got a nice used set of BBS RK's for my old car for about 40% of the new price.
Check the Porsch CLub in your country. Here in America the Porsche CLub classifieds are a pretty good source for parts.

My vote goes to the one with wrong rim and warranty.

I would pick the one with the warranty and the lower miles with the original engine. Looks nice, and that warranty will be worth a lot of money in the long run.

BBS makes some of the rims for Porsche, Speedline and Ronal also make factory rims. BBS has been a motorsports partner with Porsche forever so you can't go wrong with BBS IMHO.

I like the seal grey with BBS and ROW M030 suspension but I'm biased :D
