The car was a 1 owner car and was from the area I live in but was bought at auction by an out of state dealer that I bought it from. I do have the original paperwork from the dealer the car was sold new at and the window sticker. The car sold for around $46K new and was delivered in June 1998 and was ordered by the buyer in Feb. 1998. I bought it sight unseen except for photos, there was some paint work done and it still has a lot of parking lot dings and some minor dents. It runs and drives very nice though. I replaced the top so far, front brake pads and sensors, floor mats, and had the immobilzer box repaired. I haven't driven the car very much so I guess time will tell as far as any repairs it will need. I think I got a fair deal on it, I was disappointed with all the little dings though even though the dealer did mention it, he seemed like an honest person.

The car was perfectly detailed, pristine condition, new set of Pilots, almost all records, maintained by the book, not a scratch on it. I've put 11,000 miles on it (stored in winter) and, aside from two oil changes, have only had to replace the cap on the coolant container. The only thing that would make it better would be if we'd only get some top-down weather.

Tires, Paintless dent repair, serpentine belt, air filter, cabin filter, plugs, AOS, horn fix, cluster lights, Climate control LCD screen replace, visor mirror cover replacement, short shifter, top mechanism repair (failed two weeks after owning it.)

Runs better after plugs and AOS. Still have to sort airbag light.

I'm not sure how to judge the mechanical condition. It needed a headlight, 4 tires and a clutch, but I knew that going in.

The plan going in was to drive it for 3 years and sell it and buy something responsible. I'm not ready to buy something responsible yet.

I’m probably the ‘winner’ here as far as most paid.. Oh well. It was very well cared for; the first owner put maybe 3k miles on it. The second owner only had it for 18 months and put a lot of money into during that time.

Options: full leather, IMSB fix, PSM, heated seats, litronics, Bose speakers (Stereo then upgraded by previous owner), wind deflector, extra rear fog light.

:cool:2002S........PAID 18,OOO. PURCHASED 9/13. Probably overpaid but mileage was only30k, beautiful speed yellow paint with updated taillights, perfect Victor Equiptment Lemans wheels, updated suspension, real carbon fiber shifter, parking brake handle,center console cover and roll bar hoops, front grill guards to keep stuff out of the radiators. All records and keys. Plus a brand new convertible top with glass window (still in the box). Car runs and looks better than new.....

Since I bought it I have added/replaced; rear lower control arms, battery, motor mount, aftermarket stereo, underdrive pulley, and secondary cat bypass pipes. Plans for this winter include a new top (currently patched rear window), water pump, thermostat, hoses, and AOS.

Purchased 2001 Base (Triple Black) in Feb 2016 for $8,500. It had 46k miles. Interior - 10, Exterior - 8, Mechanical - 8. Since purchase replaced the IMS, RMS, Clutch, WP and Thermostat for $2,100. Changed all fluids, filters and belt for cost. Reupholstered door trim in lambskin leather ($5 Thrift Store Bargin Find!).

What I've done: o2 sensors, WP/thermostat, 987 MM, general maint/fluids as required, Oil pressure gauge, oil sump X-51 upgrade, and a few other bells and whistles.
