Convertible top question
 

Hello All,

I am a new 2001 Boxster owner and have a question on the convertible top. The top is in great condition with the exception of one minor area along the passenger side window. There is a slight gap which I have pictured below. Seems like perhaps some type of cable has worn out. Has anyone experienced this and is this something I could repair.

I also included a picture of a brand new cable that was in the trunk. I was wondering if this was something for the convertible top. appreciate your feedback
