Becker CDR 220 radio Antenna

Hey folks, I noticed my radio reception in my car can be pretty crappy majority of the time... yes I normally listen to CDs but some of the time I like to change it up and listen to the radio. Does anyone have any ideas how I can replace the Antenna in the car to something stronger that will make the radio reception more clear etc?

Thanks
Dr.

The antenna is built into the A-Pillar and glass, so you can't really replace it. You could add a different antenna, but that would be a lot of work.
I did find this:

Funny: my AM has gone off the deep end again. The correction is definitely done behind the A pillar. I have done it before
Seems like there could be a better fix ? Anyone ?

Replace the powered signal booster that the antenna lead plugs into. It is what is mounted on the passenger side A-pillar. My CDR 220 lost all radio reception, and replacing the booster did the trick.

It cost just over $50 from Pelican.

Does anyone have a solution to fix the FM reception?
Both the AM and FM sick on my car.

If I change the radio to a double din will that fix the reception issue's?

The problem is that your car has a little wire in the windshield masquerading as an antennae. Your reception can only get so good with that set up. Besides, you are in a Porsche and you shouldn't need (or want) a radio.
