Side mirror replacement

Has anyone replaced the sideview mirror? How difficult? Does the replacement part need painted ? Need entire side mirror assembly.

Do you need just a mirror itself not the assembly?

The assemblies come off the car very easy, 3 T25 bolts and one electric connection.
