Just wondering where the best price on a Motive Power Bleeder can be found on the net?? I checked out e-bay and they are going for about $50 U.S.

Are there any other good sources for a good price on the Motive 0100? The $49.46 w/Free Shipping from Apex Performance seems to be the best I can find currently... if that place is even still in business.

Thanks... yeah, I tried that, but when you sort prices by Total Price, the best there is $51.07 shipped. I'm doubtful I'll find a better deal than $49 shipped, but if anyone finds one... let us know!

I'd like to stand up and thank the guy who bought out Motive. My unit had a leak, apparently in a known site to have issues. The new owner took back mine and replaced with new, that's a good human doing the right thing and the product works awesome too.

I just bought one from Summit Racing for $49 plus shipping (two-day as I needed it sooner rather than later). Works damned well, made bleeding my Mercedes a snap.

Summit Racing gets my vote. The item was less expensive and shipping was not that much. Works lie a charm! That is half of what you would pay for one hour at the stealership and half of half the cost for them to bleed the brakes and now you can do it forever. The only downside is that if your wife has another vehicle, like a Honda, you must buy a funky adapter to fit that braking system. The master cylinder cap that Motive uses on the Porsche (make sure you order the right part number) screws right on. The fitment on the Honda is not so simple….but who cares? We are here to talk Box.

For me, my personal opinion, it doesn't always come down to who's the cheapest. I'd gladly pay a few extra dollars to buy a product from a better company. Not saying any of the mentioned companies are bad. Just that over a few bucks, I'd choose someone I know and trust. Now, sometimes you just can't beat a good deal, {almost} no matter who's selling. ;)

Got a similar product from Bavarian Auto in NH for one of my BMWs. About $60 and it fits all German cars. I don't know who makes it for them but it came with a drain bottle and hose with a little wire to hang it off of things. Nice product and very well made. I actually have two of them now.

Just remember brake fluid is hygroscopic and dispose of any unused fluid.

Since I needed quick shipping, I ended up purchasing on eBay from Bimmerzone (PA) for $58.95 shipped. I ordered on Thursday, and I just got my UPS tracking confirmation for delivery on Monday.

Two points: They have sales, and sometimes offer free shipping as well. You just have to catch them.

I love my Motive. Bleeding brakes is the easiest part with my Boxster and Vette.

The only downside is to buy all the different adapters to every different make.

It's funny. I'm sure it's not the case, but it's as if you guys are upset at Motive for all the auto manufacturers making different kinds of brake fluid reservoirs. ;)

I can imagine if Motive included all the different type adapters for the range of brake fluid reservoirs out there, the brake fluid flushing kit they sell would cost in the hundred(s)?

I bought the Porsche version for my Boxster. After using it, and realizing how much easier it was to use than the MityVac, I went out and bought the Honda adapter for my other vehicle. Great product.

My Porsche-cap on the Motive bleeder works on my BMW and my buddy's Mini :)
