mnc-i Registered User Join Date: May 2010 Location: Austin, Texas Posts: 183	Oil Capacity of a 986 vs a 996 Does a 3.4 996 have a smaller oil capacity than a 2.5 986? I have always filled my 99 Boxster with 10 quarts of oil after every oil & filter change. I just read that the 996 series 911's 3.4 engine takes just nine (9) quarts after an oil and filter change. Is that correct? MNC-i
