hood and trunk lift supports

My 02 is in need of new hood/trunk supports. Tired of them konking me in the head  First place I looked was Pelican as I try to support them anytime I can. But I found this site and ordered them this morning. I ordered the " house brand " but they have a lifetime warranty just like the more expensive ones do. Plus free shipping. The site states these are made in Europe so I'm sure the quality is good. Just passing this along if others need them to.

Is that price each or for a pair?

I bought a pair for my rear trunk for about $25 for a pair. Just installed it so we'll see how long it lasts.

Mine have been on over 2 years and still work fine.....eBay $25 per pair

Most important is to just replace them before they don't do anything anymore. Getting hit in the head is a nuisance, loosing a couple of fingers,.. Well.
$36 is a bit steep for a non original lift support.

I picked up generic ones at O'reillys for $12 a pair rears and $24 fronts. They have worked great!

make sure you don't install them upside-down like most people do

.......and be careful when you are pulling the clip back to release the ball, that you don't launch it across the garage.......
