19" Carrera classics

I know a few 987 owners out there are thinking about getting the 19" Carrera Classic wheels and I .

saw these on ebay.

Seems like a pretty good priice.

I know I should probably have posted this in the "parts for sale", but I'm not the one selling them.

GO FOR IT RONDOG!!! You know you want to. :D

Buy them and sell yours. I'm sure there are a lot of 987 owners out there that would love to have the 19" Carrera S wheels that you have. I bet you could sell yours for close to what the Classic's cost.

hmmmmm....... interesting proposition.......let me get my calculator out........it may just be possible.....

Just for comparison, a set of these sold...

for $2000 last November through the same seller. Recent takeoffs--2 k miles with continental rubber on it. I got sniped at the end on the bid and didn't make the mistake of playing it skinny again on a good deal.

Great looking wheels but $3800 seems a bit high. If you're willing to wait until the fall or winter I think you'll see better pricing.

I think Brandywine would get more bids if they put PS2s or something other than Conti Sport Contact 2s on the rims. I've had the Contis on another car, and have a hard time believing they're N-rated, which would lead one to believe they're "on par" with PS2s, which IMHO they are not.

MikenOH is right

I've been wanting those wheels for quite some time but that price is very high...I saw a set that just sold for 2500 on ebay and another set that didn't move at 2900....hold out on that price....unless money isn't a concern :)
