Where are did you buy your LN engineering IMS bearing
I'm about to buy a LN engineering IMS bearing for my 2001 3.4. I googled it just to see what my options were and quite a few popped up ranging from $585-950. Just curious where you guys got yours from and what did you pay?

$600 from my Indy. Motorsport.

I think someone on here may have a single row for sale because when they got the transmission off they had a double row. They may have had a 2001 engine as well. Have you looked at the flange and positively id'd it as single row?
|
Actually I just assumed it was single because it's a 2001

Those higher priced units are the Single Row Pro, not the Classic unit, which has the cheapest price.

Mine is a 2001 build date but it is fitted with the double row bearing. That probably means that the engine was assembled sometime in 2000 before being shipped to Finland and co-joined to the chassis. |

Single Row Pro in my 986. I paid $799 plus installation.

Yep, 2000 and 01 both require visual inspection of the flange to verify which IMSB is fitted.

Just checked mine and it is a single row. Jake, Is this the old single LN bearing? The part number is off a little and to me the bearing in pic looks like the factory bearing.

Answered my own question. Those are the old single row part number's. I thought LN stop selling those and only offered the pro.

Got my single row pro for $669 |
be careful with partsGeek. they are notorious for delivering the wrong part, and they NEVER take returns (even though they have a "30 day return" policy). Ask me how I know.....

You have to remove tranny to see what it has if it's a 99, 00 or 01. Or other years if the engine was ever replaced that you don't know about, There's an 02 here with a double row. |
