Porsche Boxster S 2003 - Oil Leak
I had the car parked for 3 days after a hard driving, to find a massive leak spit under the engine on the drivers side, i took a video of what is technically happening in the link below. If you are able to determine so please do let me know.
https://youtu.be/JuvJNJTgJvk PS: having the car checked previously the dealer ship advised me to change the spark plug tubes since they were draining oil. |
If the dealer said that you need to do your spark plug tubes, then you need to replace your spark plug tubes. You answered your own question.Especially with hard driving if there's a leak in those, they'll really start squirting.

That appears to be coming from the oil pump area. Sure, replace the tubes but I do not think that is where your leak is originating. Can you get the car up on ramps or jack stands and take another video?

^^^Agreed. ^^^
I've never seen spark plug tubes leak that amount of oil before - there is something more serious causing that leak. You will have to get the car up in the air (preferably on jack stands) to ascertain where the leak is coming from. How much oil has been lost - what level does the dipstick show? |
I think there are no more spark plug tubes in a 2003 Boxster...

2003 Bosxters don't have spark plug tubes.
Jack the car up on the left nack side, remove the wheel, go below the car and try to check where the oil s coming from. If you can't see, because there is to much oil than clean everything up, take the car for a ride jack it up again and check if you can see now where the oil is coming from. Above the area you've filmed is a sensor. Maybe the leak is caused by that. https://www.jspecauto.com/images/Eng...1_DSCN5206.jpg And if it's possible please make videos that don't shake the whole time. ;) Regards Markus |
Looks like the OP has left the stage.......
